Basement Ventilation

Basement Ventilation : Cars parked in an underground parking structure emit carbon monoxide (CO) and other noxious fumes into the atmosphere. There is a need for an efficient ventilation system to remove these toxins, circulate fresh air into the car park, and assist firefighters in the case of a fire emergency. The GreenJet® series includes a range of performances ideal for parking garage ventilation. Ductless designs use jet fans to dilute and remove contaminants and control smoke. The fans move air towards the exhaust area when installed on the ceiling. This creates a continuous flow, avoiding the creation of stagnant zones where air is trapped. Vane Axial fans are used to circulate fresh air & extract exhaust air during this process.

Vane Axial Fans
Vane axial inline fans are the most efficient axial design. Precision machining creates a tight tip clearance between blade tips and the fan housing. Integral straightening vanes redirect swirling airflow after the impeller into a linear flow at the discharge, further adding increased efficiency. Best suited for applications where there are high volumes of air at medium to high pressures, applications include mining, tunnel ventilation and large space ventilation such as atriums, halls, and stadiums.
Direct drive model has the most compact design for the available performance range with minimal maintenance and low vibration levels. Final system balancing uses manually adjustable blade pitch. Model VADS is Greenheck’s sound trap housing for sound critical applications.

JET FANS
GJX GreenJet fans are used with inlet and outlet silencers, inlet guards, mounting bracket and aluminum die-cast propellers and blades. The GJX features a true airfoil design propeller to move large volumes of air at a high efficiency using a smaller diameter fan.
