Y-Strainers are devices for mechanically removing unwanted solids from liquid, gas or steam lines by means of a perforated or wire mesh straining element. They are used in pipelines to protect pumps, meters, control valves, steam traps, regulators and other process equipment.
These series ‘Y’ – Type Strainers are available from 20mm up to 400mm Flanged End Connection Only.

Pot Strainer
S.I. (SI-PN-16 & SI-1001 H) Series Pot Strainers are manufactured in a wide variety of required specifications, Temperature / Pressure Rating & different types to meet specific requirement of Straining application in the HVAC System Water Line, Oil Field, Agriculture, etc.
Its design ensures that no interruption occurs in the system while cleaning the strainer by altering the flow of the fluid to a second strainer during the cleaning process. A system is in place to detect when the first pot or basket is full, so the flow is redirected to the second strainer and free the first pot for cleaning by the operator. Pot and Basket Strainers are used for applications involving strong chemical reactions and abrasives.

Suction Guide
S.I. (Model No: SI-1099) Suction Guides are designed for bolting directly onto the suction flange of horizontal or vertical shaft centrifugal pumps. These are manufactured in a wide variety of required specifications, Temperature / Pressure Rating & different types to meet specific requirement of Straining application in the Water Line, Oil Field etc.
Suction Guides (SG) are multi-function pump fittings that provide a 90° elbow, guide vanes, and an in-line strainer. Suction guides reduce pump installation cost and floor space requirements.

Sediment Removable Separator
S.I. Model No SI-1050 Sediment Removal Separators (SRS) are recommended for both Sediment and Air removal in Hydronic Systems. It is designed and constructed in accordance with ASME codes on all models. It is an efficient Separator utilizing Centrifugal Action to remove system sediment or waste through an automated purge system or by hand operated Ball Valve.

The Sediment Removal Separator is designed with tangential nozzles which create a centrifugal action within the separator that causes undissolved particles to be thrown against the inside diameter of the tank. It then falls to the bottom to be collected and either manually or automatically discharged from the tank.
